Commercial Origination Course
For most mortgage brokers the thought of having to turn away a commercial loan makes them cringe, because of the significant loss of potential income. But the reality is that the vast majority of residential mortgage brokers don’t have the skills or confidence to write commercial finance.
All that is about to change...
The National Finance Institute has developed a fast track Commercial Origination Course designed specifically for mortgage brokers that want to expand into commercial finance. You will learn all the essential skills to commence writing commercial deals immediately.
The course has been written by experienced industry practitioners with many years commercial lending experience. In addition, to ensure the course is up-to-date and results-focused, the trainers are experienced commercial lenders (some are still operating in this capacity and take time off to train this course!).
The Commercial Origination Course is offered via 3 learning modes: Option
1 - Available only for groups, a two-part program beginning with course material provided to the
trainee for initial home study, followed by a 1 day Workshop; Option 2 - via distance learning whereby the student receives the
full manual via mail or courier and then has access to the trainer (via
phone/fax/email) who will then act as the trainee's mentor throughout the
learning and initial submission process. Option 3 - via NFI's online
e-learning platform where the training manual subjects are available online for
the trainee's home study. Again, a commercial trainer is available to act
as the trainee's mentor through the learning and initial submission
process.
